Q: How big is each page?
A: All pages are 9 x 9 inches, unless otherwise specified.
Q: Can I customize my order?
A: YES! All orders are custom made. With that in mind, many aspects are customizable, though not all. Please feel free to ask for something specific, and I'll see what I can do!
Q: I have another idea that isn't pictured in the gallery. Can you make it?
A: I'd love to! I have already made many other pages not pictured in the gallery. Some are copyrighted patterns that I can't list for sale, and others I have previously given away or sold, so I don't have pictures of them. With that in mind, please ask for whatever page you would like! I'd love to design it especially for you--and probably make an extra for my own children while I'm at it!
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Price is per page. Pages generally range in price from $15 to $50, depending on the amount of labor and materials required to make each (2-page spreads may be more, since they are two pages). So after you look through the gallery of quiet book pages, click on the "Get a Quote" page and let me know what you are hoping for. If you order a book of at least 8 pages, I can include binding and a cover for FREE! Based on your description of what you'd like, I'll get a quote back to you as soon as I can.
Q: How does shipping work?
A: Based on the country you live in, I will give you a shipping estimate along with the order quote.
Q: How long will it take to get my book?
A: That depends on how many pages you order. Generally you should allow about 1 month, although I will let you know at the time of order if there are many orders ahead of yours, and will let you decide if you can wait for the estimated amount of time.
Q: What if I change my mind?
A: Unfortunately, because each order is customized, I cannot offer returns. However, if you cancel early in the process, I will be able to offer a refund for the pages that are not yet finished.
Q: What ages are the books appropriate for?
A: That is up to you! I have made pages for children from infant (touch & feel, high visual contrast) up to kindergarten age (imaginative play, STEM & creative thinking, etc.).
Q: Can I add more pages to the book later?
A: Yes! The binding method I use is similar to a ringed binder, with eyelets and rings. Pages can be added and removed with ease so that you can change or add pages to grow with your child.
Q: What about shipping?
A: Within the continental United States, I use USPS shipping to get an estimate (usually about $10 for an average size book). If you order $200 or more, I will throw in shipping (within the US) for free! If you are in another country, contact me for details.
